Phi Mu has a long and thriving history on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln campus. Phi Mu Zeta Gamma was founded in 1921. The original chapter house was located at 1520 R St.
The chapter reorganized in 1965 and moved into a new home that was located at 1125 N 16th St. Due to the growth of the university, the property and others became student housing. Phi Mu moved again in 2002 into our current chapter house, located at 626 N. 16th Street in the heart of Greek Row. The Mu Mansion, as we like to call it, has a close proximity to everything on campus. Our house is a safe place for all members to come. Some of the best memories are made during lunch at the house, sisterhood events and sitting outside when the weather is nice. We love seeing all of our sisters walk through the maroon door! Living in the house is a huge experience for the women in the chapter as well. It is a great way to create life-long bonds and be more involved within the chapter. |
